Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival & Transfer to Colombo

Greetings from Sri Lanka!

Please head to your Colombo lodging after landing at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB).

Day 2

Royal Colombo Golf Club (18 Hole)

Golfers will head to the Royal Colombo Golf Club for the first round of 18-hole golf after breakfast.

The length of the Royal Colombo Golf Club is 6431 yards (par 71). Beginners may find a flat course with board fairways to be straightforward, but the numerous water hazards and well-guarded bunkers soon cause him to reconsider. All of the city's major hotels are within ten to fifteen minutes' drive of the Royal Colombo Golf Club.

Day 3

Kandy

In 1988, Kandy—then known as Senkadagala—was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its lake, temples like the Temple of the Tooth Relic, and the well-preserved remains of the royal palaces, the city itself perfectly captures the style and character of Sri Lankan civilization at the time.

We will have the chance to see the revered Buddhist artifact up close when we are shown around the Temple of the Tooth Relic later today.
Take in a traditional Sri Lankan cultural performance this evening.

Day 4

Victoria Golf Club (18 Hole)

After breakfast, play your first round of 18-hole golf at Victoria Golf Course.
The newest international golf course in Sri Lanka is called Victoria Golf Club. The 6890-yard Par 73 Championship Course has many noteworthy holes. With its rolling terrain, breathtaking views of the Victoria Reservoir, the Knuckles Range, and the majestic forest trees that the course has been expertly routed through, the layout, created by renowned British golf architect Donald Steel, has made the most of an exceptionally gifted site. Imported Bermuda grass varieties have been used to plant the greens, tees, and fairways. The greens were constructed in accordance with USGA guidelines.

Day 5

Nuwara Eliya

We go to a tea factory at the end of the afternoon so you can learn more about how tea is made. You will learn about the various types of tea, how they are carefully chosen, and which parts of the plant are used for tea. It's fascinating to watch how they go through the process before being sold as tea leaves all over the world. We will sample tea at the conclusion of the tour. A souvenir shop serving a variety of teas is also located here. Nice as a memento, perhaps!

  • Check out of the hotel after breakfast, then continue on your way to Nuwara Eliya.

  • Visits to tea factories and plantations; complimentary tea tasting (free guided tour)

  • Gregory Lake

  • A leisurely stroll through the city

Day 6

Nuwara Eliya Golf Club

Originally constructed amid the tea plantations of this central highland area, the course spans about 40.5 hectares (100 acres) of land. The elevation of the course is 1,830 meters (6,000 feet) above sea level. The scorecard is in meters, but the distance between the yardage markers and the green's edge is in yards. It is an 18-hole, 5,851-meter (6,399-yard), Par 70 layout.

Day 7

Hambantota

You can visit the following sites while traveling to Hambantota:

  • The Ella City Walk

  • The Ravana Falls

Day 8

Shangri-La Golf Course

Situated amidst an expansive coconut palm plantation, Sri Lanka's first and only golf resort offers breathtaking views and distinctive challenges for both novice and expert players.

An amazing golfing experience is created by the abundance of wildlife and nature, which is surrounded by lakes and the stunning Indian Ocean.

The world-renowned golf architect Rodney Wright is a firm believer in incorporating the local environment and culture into a golf course. He wanted to create a course that people would want to take.

Day 9

Transfer To Airport For Departure

Before you check out and wrap up your stay in Sri Lanka, spend this morning as you like.

During the reservation process, departure transfers to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) can be scheduled.
