Day 1
ARRIVAL - KANDY
We arrive in Colombo in the morning, and from there, you'll be transferred to Kandy, a scenic 3.5-hour drive. Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka, is rich in history, culture, and unique charm. Surrounded by majestic mountains, the city offers an ideal blend of natural beauty and vibrant cultural experiences. Kandy is also close to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a unique experience where you can interact with elephants—helping them bathe, feeding them, and even assisting with their rehabilitation.

DAY EXCURSION TO SIGIRIYA & DAMBULLA

Day 3
Sigiriya
In the afternoon, you’ll visit a tea factory where you’ll learn about the intricate process of tea production. You’ll discover which parts of the plant are used for tea, the different types of tea, and how they are carefully picked. It's fascinating to see the entire process, from plant to the worldwide sale of tea leaves. At the end of the tour, you’ll have the chance to taste a variety of teas. There’s also a souvenir shop offering a selection of teas—perfect for taking home as a keepsake.
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll check out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya, with stops along the way:

Day 4
BENTOTA
Bentota is a charming resort town located on Sri Lanka's southwest coast, known for its expansive Bentota Beach that stretches north and transforms into Paradise Island, which runs parallel to Bentota Lagoon. The area is famous for its coral-rich dive sites, including Canoe Rock. On Bentota River, you’ll find the centuries-old Galapota Temple, home to a large Buddha statue. To the southeast lies Lunuganga, the estate and gardens of renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa, while northeast you can visit his brother Bevis's Brief Garden.
The town also holds historical significance, particularly the Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which has a vibrant and diverse history. The fort, with its multi-ethnic and multi-religious population, is undergoing efforts by both the Sri Lankan government and Dutch descendants to make it one of the modern wonders of the world.
Day 5
BENTOTA
The Galle Dutch Fort's heritage value has been recognized by UNESCO, and it has been inscribed as a cultural UNESCO World Heritage Site under criteria iv. The fort is a unique example of an urban ensemble that illustrates the interaction of European architecture and South Asian traditions from the 16th to the 19th centuries.

COLOMBO

A visit to the Gangaramaya Temple is also included, where you can explore its museum, library, and gift room.
